Tottenham enjoyed a very nice season, as they finished third in the Premier League and finally grabbed a ticket for next year’s Champions League again.
Mauricio Pochettino has agreed to stay on as the Spurs’ manager and is keen to at least duplicate this season’s performances. Therefore, the club is looking to add to the team’s depth.
According to La Gazetta dello Sport (via talkSPORT), Tottenham are interested in Napoli striker Manolo Gabbiadini, though they are likely to face competition from West Ham and Wolfsburg.
The 24-year-old was stuck on the Serie A giants’ bench for most of the season, playing behind star striker Gonzalo Higuain. Gabbiadini ended the season with 9 goals in 30 appearances in all competitions.
Meanwhile, Tottenham are willing to let forward Heung-Min Son leave the club this summer and will also listen to offers for midfield duo Nabil Bentaleb and Ryan Mason, according to The Daily Telegraph.
The 23-year-old South-Korea international arrived at White Heart Lane during the 2015 summer, with the Spurs paying a hefty £22.50 million to Bayer Leverkusen. However, Son scored just 8 goals in 42 appearances for the club, failing to live up to the high expectations.
Last but not least, Tottenham are interested in signing Palermo forward Franco Vazquez this summmer with the striker keen to move on from the Serie A strugglers, according to The Daily Mirror.
Palermo narrowly escaped relegation to Serie B, securing a prolonged stay in Italy’s top flight only on the last matchday of the season, as they won 3-2 against bottom team Hellas Verona. Vazquez provided eight goals and seven assists for the Rosanero this season.
