Valencia star midfielder Andre Gomes is wanted by a number of big European clubs, among them Manchester United and Chelsea, according to Sky Sports.
The 22-year-old Portuguese international, who’s currently playing for his country at Euro 2016, has been one of the hottest prospects on the summer transfer market.
Serie A champions Juventus have been linked with a move for Gomes and seemed to be the leading club to land him for a long time. However, Valencia are said to value their star midfielder from £31.5 million to £42 million, a steep price that the Old Lady are not willing to put on the table.
Meanwhile, United are rumoured to be willing to pay Valencia’s price tag for Gomes but the report claims that the La Liga club have rejected a Chelsea bid of £31.5 million for the Portugal international.
According to Spanish expert Guillem Balague, Valencia have yet to receive an offer from the Red Devils, while Barcelona are also also keen on the midfielder, who provided four goals and seven assists in 41 appearances in all competitions after joining Valencia last summer from Benfica for £11.3 million.
