Arsenal are planning to go all guns blazing in the summer transfer window.
The Gunners have already signed Granit Xhaka from Borussia Monchengladbach in a £30m deal and last week, they triggered the release clause of Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy.
Earlier reports had suggested that Vardy was poised to join the Gunners, but that hasn’t turned out be the case.
According to the latest reports, the England international is still pondering over the move and will make a final decision only after the Euro Championships.
Meanwhile, the Sun has claimed that Arsenal are close to completing a £25m deal for Borussia Dortmund winger Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
The Armenia international has only one year left on his contract and he has reportedly rejected the new deal offered by the Bundesliga club.
Wolfsburg’s Ricardo Rodriguez is another player from Bundesliga that has been strongly linked with a move to Emirates Stadium.
According to Daily Express, the Gunners are also closing on a deal for Bolton Wanderers defender Rob Holding.
Meanwhile, a number of players are also expected to depart from the North London club in the summer.
Theo Walcott was strongly linked with an exit from the club, but the Telegraph has claimed that he has been assured of his place at the club by manager Arsene Wenger.
However, the same cannot be said about Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Kieran Gibbs. The same report from the Telegraph claims that both players are set to leave the club in the transfer window.
