A couple of major Liverpool-related transfer stories have emerged recently.
To begin with, the Reds have once been linked with Barcelona winger Cristian Tello.
Liverpool were also linked with the player in 2014, and now according to Spanish newspaper Marca, they are prepared to reignite their interest in the 24-year-old.
The Merseysiders are reportedly considering making an approach for the player, who is valued at £5.4m by his club.
Tello spent the second half of the last season on loan at Serie A club Fiorentina, and they are reportedly interested in signing him on a permanent deal.
Meanwhile, Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen has been linked with an exit from the club.
Premier League club Swansea have registered interest in the Wales international, who only has one year left on his current deal.
The 26-year-old’s future at Anfield is far from certain and he has already stated that he will take a decision regarding his future after the Euro Championships.
Swansea City Chairman Huw Jenkins has confirmed his club’s interest in re-signing the midfielder.
He told Evening Post: “I think it has been well-documented that Joe is going to look at his future when he is finished out at Euro 2016.
“Naturally, we are interested in good players like Joe who may be available this summer given that he has a year left on his contract.
“Obviously, we will keep tabs on his situation and see what happens later in the summer.”
