It’s a busy news day for Arsenal fans as a number of new stories linking the club with prospective transfer targets have emerged.
Firstly, Ligue 1 club Lyon have confirmed that they have turned down a £29 million bid from the Gunners for their striker Alexandre Lacazette.
The French made the announcement on their official Twitter denouncing the claim from French source Le Progrès that the North London club have made a £40 million bid for the player.

The Gunners have also been linked with a move for Toulouse striker Wissam Ben Yedder by French news outlet Canal+. The 25-year-old is in the last year of his contract with Toulouse and is expected to be available for around £8 million.
The report claims that Sevilla and Arsenal are in the running for the player, and he should join one of them in the coming days. Ben Yedder scored 17 league goals for his club last season.
Wissam Ben Yedder should make a decision between Arsenal & Sevilla in the coming hours, according to @ludo_deroin of Canal +.

Last, but not least, the Gunners have also been linked with Valencia defender Shkodran Mustafi. Arsenal have recently lost Per Mertesacker to a long-term injury and are supposedly in the market for an experienced centre-back.
German football specialist Jan Aage Fjortoft think that the Gunners are interested in the German international, who could be available for around £12 million.
