After securing the services of Eric Bailly and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Manchster United secured a third summer signing with Borussia Dortmund’s Henrikh Mkhitaryan joining the Red Devils this week.
Mkhitaryan became Jose Mourinho’s third signing at Old Trafford and will add a serious creative boost to the Red Devils, as he provided a staggering 23 goals and 26 assists in all competitions last season.
Meanwhile, Dortmund have now lost three of their biggest players, seeing midfielder Ilkay Gundogan move to Manchester City and defender Mats Hummels to rivals Bayern Munich.
Now, a report by German news outlet Bild reveals that United have agreed a deal worth £35 million with the Bundesliga giants to sign the 27-year-old Armenia international.
On top, the report claims that the midfielder will receive a £6.7 million signing-on fee and will earn wages of £200,000 a week over a four-year deal.
The club are expecting Mkhitaryan to travel to England this week to undergo a medical at the Reds Carrington training ground and he will then sign, subject to being granted a work permit.
