Inter Milan are prepared to everything in their power to sign full-back Matteo Darmian from Manchester United on a loan move.
Italian website Calciomercato.com claim that Inter want to sign the Italian defender on an initial six-month loan move with a view to a permanent transfer for £13.5m.
The report claims that Inter are very serious about the move and club’s vice-president Javier Zanetti will personally fly to England to talk to United manager Jose Mourinho to explore the possibility of the deal.
Darmian, who joined United in a £12.7m move from Torino in 2015, has fallen down the pecking order under Jose Mourinho.
Mourinho has preferred to play Antonio Valencia ahead of Darmian in the left-back position, and the Italy international has managed only one Europa League appearance this season.
The 24-year-old is reportedly worried about the lack of playing time at United and is eager to leave the club in search of first-team opportunities. He made 28 league appearances, including 24 starts, for the Red Devils last season.
