Arsenal legend Thierry Henry could make his first appearance in an Arsenal shirt since leaving the club for Barcelona four years ago in the club’s FA Cup tie with Leeds, according to BBC Sport.

The 34-year-old former France international completed his long-awaited return to north London on a two-month loan from New York Red Bulls on Friday, and is in the frame for the Gunner’s tricky tie with promotion-chasing Leeds tonight.

Visiting manager Simon Grayson admitted Henry still poses a considerable threat, stating: “[Henry] could make anything happen and that is a fantastic attribute that Arsene Wenger has for spotting players. The pace and chances he used to create, he has to be one of the best. He has a different experience of playing in America but it is probably fitting that he comes back and has a couple of months with Arsenal. We don't expect him to be like he was but he will still be a considerable threat if he plays.”

Henry scored 11 times against Leeds while the Yorkshire outfit were plying their trade in the Premier League during the Frenchman’s previous tenure at Arsenal, including four goals in a 5-0 victory in April 2004.
