Wednesday 28 November 2012

Tottenham will look to build upon last weekend's victory when they face an inconsistent Liverpool to White Hart Lane.

White Hart Lane

Spurs ended a run of three Premier League defeats in the row when they defeated West Ham 3-1 at the weekend. The result put Andre Villas-Boas' side back level with Arsenal in seventh place.

Liverpool come into the clash unbeaten in eight Premier League clashes, with five draws included in that run. On the other hand, in all competitions the Reds have been victorious only once in their last eight outings.

For Tottenham Sandro, who was stretchered off at the weekend, is fit and available, and the side could be unchanged, depending on the fitness of Mousa Dembele. Michael Dawson is expected to keep his place in central defence, as will Hugo Lloris in the Spurs goal. Scott Parker is making progress on his return from an Achilles injury, but will not be available tonight.

Liverpool will have Andre Wisdom back in contention following a knee injury, meaning Stewart Downing is likely to drop to the bench. Martin Kelly is still out with knee ligament damage, while Fabio Borini is out until after Christmas with a broken foot. Lucas Leiva is unavailable, but following recent progress could feature at the weekend.
