Tickets for the 2013 UEFA Europa League final in Amsterdam have gone on sale for the general public.

2013 UEFA Europa League final

At an event launched with UEFA Executive Committee member and Royal Netherlands Football Association (KNVB) President Michael Van Praag, final ambassador Patrick Kluivert, and deputy mayor of the City of Amsterdam Eric van der Burg, the process for applications was outlined.

A new ticketing portal on UEFA.com has been set up to allow members of the public to apply for tickets under a lottery process, allowing an equal opportunity to all applicants. These applicants will be able to apply for up to two tickets per person in the same price category.

Tickets come in four pricing categories:

Category One: €135
Category Two: €100
Category Three: €70
Category Four: €45

There are also 200 youth ticket packages, along with tickets with wheelchair access, details of which can be found on the official portal.

Shipment fee will be €8 in the Netherlands, €20 in Europe, and €35 outside of Europe.

The portal will be open to applications until Friday 18th January 2013.

Of England's current representatives in the Europa League, Liverpool need a win away to Udinese to be sure of progression, Tottenham require a draw against Panathinaikos to stand a good chance of going through, while Newcastle have already qualified for the Final Stages.
