Manchester United's Nemanja Vidic has spoken about his team's performance against West Ham United in the third round of the FA Cup yesterday at Upton Park.

Speaking about the manner in which West Ham scored their goals, he said: "They scored from the second ball which we should look at again, and we are definitely a bit disappointed. It is something to talk about. Eventually they scored two against us from crosses."

Vidic feels that his team should have been better prepared for attacks of that kind:

"We always know that on set-pieces they are a tough team to play against. We have the height in the team, we should deal better with that, but most important is that we managed to stay in the game."

Manchester United managed to stay in the game and secured a draw thanks to a 90th minute goal by their Dutch striker Robin Van Persie, and the winner of the replay will face Fulham or Blackpool at home.

The Serbian centre-back was playing in only his seventh game of an injury affected season. He has been working his way back from a knee problem sustained at the end of September, but has already surpassed his total game time for last season and has now added another full game to his rehabilitation.

United have struggled defensively this season conceding twenty eight goals in twenty one league games so far this season, the 11th best defence in the Premier League.
