Wesley Sneijder is in talks with Turkish side Galatasaray over a move from Inter, potentially bringing an end to any chance of the Netherlands international moving to the Premier League despite reported interest from Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Manchester United, according to ESPN.

Sneijder has fallen out of favour under Inter coach Andrea Stramaccioni, failing to make an appearance for the club since September. Sneijder’s wife recently let slip that she expected to leave Milan in the near future, only to claim she was misquoted, but Galatasaray this week released a statement on their official website announcing they were in negotiations with Inter over the signing of Sneijder.

ESPN adds there was interest in Sneijder from a number of English clubs, including Tottenham and Liverpool, while United are said to have held a long-standing interest in the 28-year-old.

Sneijder, a title winner in Holland with Ajax, Spain with Real Madrid and Italy with Inter, has played more than 100 times for the Milan club, winning the Champions League in 2010.
