Brazil have named their starting XI to play England at Wembley on Wednesday evening, the Daily Mail has reported, with Luiz Felipe Scolari including fellow 2002 World Cup winner Ronaldinho in the team.

Ronaldinho

Ronaldinho scored the winning goal when England and Brazil met in the tournament, lobbing goalkeeper David Seaman with a long-range free kick from a wide angle as the five-time champions saw off the Three Lions 2-1.

Michael Owen gave England - managed by Sven-Goran Eriksson - the lead, scoring after 23 minutes, but Rivaldo equalised on the stroke of half-time and five minutes after the interval, Ronaldinho put the game beyond England. The South Americans went on to beat Germany in the final.

It is a year since Ronaldinho played for Brazil, last appearing against Bosnia and Herzegovina, while Chelsea defender David Luiz is to captain the side. Also starting will be Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Julio Cesar, Barcelona right-back Dani Alves, Luiz’s Chelsea teammates Ramires and Oscar and highly-rated forward Neymar.

The team in full:

Julio Cesar

Dani Alves - David Luiz - Dante - Adriano

Ramires - Paulinho

Oscar - Ronaldinho - Neymar

Luis Fabiano
