Liverpool want cut-price Lucas Biglia deal
Liverpool are believed to be interested in securing the services of Anderlecht playmaker Lucas Biglia in the summer, according to The Sun.
The midfielder is currently out of favour at the Belgian giants and looks set to leave the club come the end of the campaign, with Merseyside looking a realistic option for the Argentine, who has been capped seven times by his country.
Biglia was suspended from Anderlecht after failing to show at a training camp last month in an attempt to secure a move away from the club, with Premier League strugglers Southampton being a possible destination.
A move never materialised but Reds manager Brendan Rodgers is poised to pounce for Biglia in the summer, with the Brussels-based side set to allow him to leave for as little as £4.5million.
Anderlecht's managing director Herman van Holsbeeck said: "If we get 5.5million euros for Biglia during the next transfer window, we will be happy."
Earlier this week, Rodgers claimed that Liverpool need 'real men' to restore a winning mentality at Anfield.
