Tottenham plan Soldado move

Tottenham Hotspur will look to exploit Valencia's financial woes by targeting a cut-price deal for Roberto Soldado, says the Metro.
The striker has been one of the Spanish club's most indispensable players since signing from fellow La Liga side Getafe in 2010.
But with the big debts of Los Che continuing to rise, Soldado could be one of the first players out of the door at the Mestalla - with Spurs ready to offer £8million in an attempt to secure his services on the cheap.
Andre Villas-Boas' club have been long-term admirers of the Spanish international but have been put off by Valencia's asking price of at least £20million in the past.
With that value now slashed, Spurs see Soldado as an opportunity to add to their wafer-thin options up front, with Jermaine Defoe and Emmanuel Adebayor the club's only senior frontmen.
Tottenham reportedly missed out on a host of targets in the January transfer window, with Gary Hooper and Leandro Damiao having been linked with the north London side.
