Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are gearing up for a fight over the signing of Sochaux right-back Sebastien Corchia, the Daily Mail has reported. Serie A giants Juventus are also in the mix, the newspaper adds.

The Gunners are considering long-term replacements for Bacary Sagna, who has declined to sign an extension to his current contract with the club. Sagna’s deal expires in 2014 and Arsenal face losing him for free if they do not sell him this summer.

Sagna has been Arsene Wenger’s first choice right-back for much of his near-six years at Arsenal, with the manager considering Dutch defender Daryl Janmaat, currently of Feyenoord, as an alternative as well.

Corchia, 22, moved to Sochaux from Le Mans in 2010, playing almost 90 games for the club. He graduated from the famous Clairefontaine academy in 2006 and spent time as a young player at Paris Saint-Germain, with 26 caps for the France Under-21 team to his name.
