Porto defender Eliaquim Mangala says it's 'the best feeling' to be linked with Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, according to Sky Sports.

The two leading Premier League sides are rumoured to be monitoring the Frenchman's performances with a view to launching a potential summer bid for the 22-year-old.

But they are not the only interested parties with Mangala also thought to be catching the eye of Italian giants Milan.

Mangala said: "I have a contract here till June 2016, however all players want to play one day in the top league in Europe. To be linked with clubs of the stature of Tottenham or Manchester United is the best feeling. I want to finish the season strongly and see at the end of the season if the reports are true."

The former France under-21 international signed for the Portuguese giants from Standard Liege in 2011 and has established himself in the centre of Porto's backline.

Mangala has helped the club reach the knockout stages of the Champions League, where they currently lead Malaga 1-0 after the first leg of their last-16 tie.
