Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has demanded that his team mates rediscover their touch in the club's ten-day gap between matches, according to ESPN.co.uk.

The Gunners lost 2-1 to Champions League qualification contenders Tottenham Hotspur last weekend to fall seven points behind their local rivals in the Premier League.

Arsene Wenger's side also face elimination from Europe, having lost the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie against Bayern Munich 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium. The second leg of that match takes place next week.

Polish international Szczesny said: "Every time we lose a derby there is going to be disappointment, but we have to pick ourselves up. We have ten days until the next game so we have to make sure we are prepared for that."

"We have a lot of time to prepare for that game and if we manage to get a good result and hopefully qualify for the next round, that would be a massive boost to have a good run in the Champions League."

Arsenal currently sit in fifth position in the Premier League, five points behind fourth-placed Chelsea in the race for Champions League qualification.
