Brazilian wonderkid Neymar has sparked speculation about a potential move to Stamford Bridge, having mentioned Chelsea among a list of potential future clubs, according to ESPN.

Neymar

The Santos star has long been tipped for a move to Europe and claims that it is his ambition to play for Barcelona, Real Madrid or the European champions.

But he drew the line at issuing a come-and-get-me plea to some of the world's biggest teams, insisting that he will leave Brazil on his own terms.

Neymar said: "I dream of playing in Europe, for a big club like Barcelona, Real Madrid and Chelsea. Who wouldn't dream about playing alongside [Lionel] Messi, Xavi [Hernandez] and [Andres] Iniesta? They're all great players.

"I don't know where I would fit in if I joined Barca, but I know my place is at Santos right now. There's no point in speculating when I'll leave Santos. I'll leave when I want to."

Santos remain hopeful that they will agree a new deal with the 21-year-old, who has scored 17 goals for Brazil in 28 games. His current deal runs out in 2014.

Manchester City were reported to be readying a mega-transfer offer for the sought-after forward, who is believed to demand a transfer fee of at least £50m, earlier this month.
