Ozil confident of fitting in at Arsenal

Arsenal’s record signing Mesut Ozil has claimed he will be able to fit into the Gunners’ squad perfectly to help them win their first trophy in 10 years. The Germany international midfielder completed his £43m switch to North London on deadline day. The 24-year-old swapped the Bernabeu for the Emirates Stadium after being told he was surplus to requirements at Real Madrid.
Sky Sports are reporting that the valuable playmaker believes he can come in and add a new lease of life to the trophy-less Gunners. “I know Arsenal haven’t been to successful recently, but I think we can become more successful.,” Ozil said.
Ozil has claimed that he is looking forward to working under Arsene Wenger, but he is also relishing the opportunity to play alongside the likes of Santi Cazorla, Jack Wilshere and Theo Walcott. The young midfield man has claimed that the Gunners have some of the best players in the Premier League and he can’t wait to start scoring and creating goals.
In his last five seasons Ozil has made 72 assists which is more than any other player from the top five European leagues. During his three year spell at Madrid the midfielder has player over 100 games bagging 19 goals. Since 2009 he has claimed 47 caps for his national side scoring 14 times.
