Man Utd boss Moyes set to capture £22m Sanchez
Manchester United manager David Moyes is set to spend around £22m for Barcelona’s Alexis Sanchez, writes ESPN.
With Wilfried Zaha yet to make an appearance for the first team and likely to be shipped-out on loan in January, Moyes is forced to other attacking options out wide.
Antonio Valencia, Luis Nani and Ashley Young have all failed to impress so far this season, as United have already lost three times in the Premier League, sitting ninth. In contrast, Sanchez has already scored four goals in eight games for Barcelona this season, with his notable tally catching the eyes of Moyes.
Despite being a regular for Barcelona and his national team, Sanchez could be pushed out of the club following the arrival of Neymar. Sanchez, 24, has already made 61 appearances for Chile, having scored 19 goals in the process.
The Chilean has a similar record for Barca, where he has played 60 times, scoring 24 goals. Sanchez has already won silverware in his career, picking up the La Liga title last season, along with the Copa Del Rey the season before.
