Germany coach Low impressed with Schurrle progress at Chelsea

Germany boss Joachim Low has expressed his delight at the progress of Chelsea winger Andre Schurrle since he joined the London club, and insists he will win a place in the World Cup squad if his form continues, the Daily Express has reported.
It has been Schurrle’s development that has impressed Low the most, with aspects of his game shining through as he scored a second-half hat-trick for Germany during Tuesday night’s 5-3 win over Sweden.
The 22-year-old has shown what he can do and Low is in awe of the Chelsea player, admitting he has been impressed of late with the 22-year-old. “I told him recently that last year I wasn't very happy with his development,” Low said
“But now, in some games with us and in England, he has shown again what he can do,” Low added. “He is dynamic, works back well and has a strong finish. His physical strength was also always an issue, but he has worked well. If he continues to play like that, the World Cup will certainly not pass him by.”
Schurrle made his breakthrough into the German senior squad in 2010, having scored five goals in five matches for the Germany Under-21 side. He has gone on to play 28 times for his country, scoring 11 goals in the process.
Schurrle has made seven Premier League appearances for Chelsea this season, as the Blues sit third in the table. Jose Mourinho’s side will host Cardiff City at Stamford Bridge on Saturday following the international break.
