Jovetic happy at Man City, agent insists

The agent of Manchester City striker Stevan Jovetic has insisted that the Montenegro international is settled at the club and does not want to leave, amid suggestions that he could return to Italy in January, Sky Sports has reported.

Stevan Jovetic

Jovetic only joined Man City in the summer, making a big-money move from Serie A side Montenegro. However, has made very few appearances, partly due to injury. Indeed, he has only completed the full 90 minutes on one occasion for Manuel Pellegrini’s men, with Sergio Aguero, Edin Dzeko and Alvaro Negredo often preferred.

The 24-year-old’s lack of action has led some to suggest that he might be on his way out the club currently third in the Premier League table, but his agent, Fali Ramadani, has said that Jovetic is settled at Man City. When asked if Jovetic could leave the club, he explained: "No, there is absolutely nothing.

"Nobody called me also because everyone knows that it is unimaginable that a player who arrived a few months ago can already move. The only problems he has had are the physical ones," he told Calciomercato. Now he has fully recovered from his injury and will return next week to train with the team.

"Even with coach Pellegrini, everything is okay, there is no problem. If there should be problems when he is in shape, we'll see what to do. But right now there is absolutely nothing."
