Higuain confident ahead of Napoli's clash with Arsenal
Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain is remaining positive in the build up to his side's crunch clash in the Champions League with Arsenal, La Gazzetta dello Sport has reported.
The Italian side sit third in the group as they head into the final game, level on points with second placed Borussia Dortmund, and with the German side facing a pointless Marseille side, Benitez's side face a tough task to qualify.
But the Argentine striker, who moved from Real Madrid in the summer, still believes they can qualify.
He said: "We're convinced that we are a strong team, it will be difficult game, but we have to take it on knowing that we can do damage against Arsenal. We have to know that we are able to repeat the level of performance we reached at home to Dortmund, and I'm sure we can win and give some joy to the Napoli fans."
Should rivals Dortmund record a win over Marseille, the Italians will need a 3-0 win to qualify in place of Arsenal, but should Dortmund lose, they will need just a point to make it through to the knockout stages. A win of any sorts for Napoli and any kind of dropped points for Dortmund will also see them through but that looks unlikely with last year's finalists facing a weak Marseille side who are yet to pick up a point.
Napoli go into the game off the back of a 3-3 draw with Udinese, and lost ground on leaders Juventus, whilst Arsenal were held 1-1 at home to Everton. Arsenal ran out comfortable 2-0 winners when the two sides met at the Emirates earlier on in the group.
