West Brom, Hull and Cardiff interested in Palace midfielder Dikgacoi
Thursday 12 December 2013
Crystal Palace midfielder Kagisho Dikgacoi is attracting interest from a number of Premier League clubs and could be given a chance of moving on in the summer, according to the Daily Star.
Dikgacoi’s contract is due to expire in the summer, and negotiations are yet to take place over an extension. Palace manager Tony Pulis is thought to be open to selling the player for a reduced rate in January, which would allow reinvestment in other areas of the squad as the Eagles seek their first ever Premier League survival.
Dikgacoi will be free to discuss a free transfer with clubs on the continent from next month, with Nurnberg, Bayer Leverkusen and Werder Bremen all thought to be monitoring the situation. West Brom, Hull and Cardiff are all interested, but would likely find negotiations easier if they offer a fee for a New Year transfer.
Championship sides Nottingham Forest and Leicester are also keen, but remaining in the Premier League – or moving to a top European league - will almost certainly be a priority for the 29-year-old former Fulham midfielder.
