Everton to assess Coleman injury
Everton manager Roberto Martinez will be monitoring Seamus Coleman over the next 24 hours to assess the full-back’s injury, according to Sky Sports.
The Republic of Ireland international exited the 1-1 draw with West Brom on Monday in the final 11 minutes with a hamstring problem.
“The next 24 hours are going to be vital to find out how he feels and the extent of the injury,” said Martinez.
“Seamus is a really fit boy, so when he has that feeling that something is wrong with his hamstring, we need to take that seriously.”
The 25-year-old has caught the eye this season with goal scoring becoming a regular part of his recent performances.
The defender has scored six goals for the Toffees, with five coming in the Premier League this season.
Coleman has made 30 appearances for the side this season, and his recent performances have caused Manchester United to consider tabling a £15m bid, Sky Sports add.
The Irishman joins Steven Pienaar, Ross Barkley, Darron Gibson, Arouna Kone and Gerard Deulofeu on the Everton injury list.
