Cazorla insists Arsenal will not underestimate Coventry threat

Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla insists the Gunners will not underestimate their opponents when they welcome Coventry City to the Emirates Stadium tonight, in the FA Cup.

Whilst the League One outfit are 29/1 with Bet365 to come away with a win, Cazorla remembers last season's FA Cup exit up against Blackburn, and insists the club will not allow the same thing to happen this term:

“Football produces surprises every day and anything can happen in a game. If you underestimate an opponent, they can beat you.

“You have to approach these games in the best way possible and not get cocky or it will cost us dearly.”

The wait for a trophy goes on despite what is becoming a promising season, with eight years having gone by since they lifted the FA Cup, but Cazorla is optimistic that the wait for Gunners fans will be over come May:

“As I always say, we’ve just got to take it game by game and approach each game in the right way, and hopefully we can go as far as possible in the FA Cup.”

Coventry come into the clash on the back of six games undefeated, and currently sat in 11th place in League One.
