Bruce confident Hull can survive
Hull City manager Steve Bruce believes his side are capable of ensuring that they remain the Premier League by the end of the season, according to Sky Sports.
Hull currently sit just four points above the relegation zone in 13th place but Bruce believes half the table is worried about the threat of relegation.
"It's a quite unique sort of season. The top four have record points and there aren't two teams running away with it and two teams cut off," said Bruce.
“So there are 10 clubs in it; I'm sure from Southampton downwards you're looking over your shoulder.”
Despite the club’s recent misfortunes in the League the 53-year-old still thinks that a handful of wins will secure his side’s Premier League survival.
“We've had a really tough run of late, we always knew something was round the corner in the Premier League and we would have been naive to think we wouldn't have a bad patch,” added Bruce.
"I still think we've got to win four or five games, and if we do that I think we'll be safe.”
The Tigers have managed to win just one of their last 10 matches and face fifth place Tottenham in their next Premier League encounter on Saturday afternoon.
