West Ham midfielder Ravel Morrison will join Queens Park Rangers on loan, Sky Sports has reported.

Ravel Morrison

Hammers manager Sam Allardyce is said to be frustrated with the former Manchester United youngster, who has been ruled out of late with a groin injury that Allardyce disputes was serious enough to warrant a spell on the sidelines.

Morrison hasn’t started for West Ham in the Premier League since December having broken into the first team earlier in the season. He marked his emergence with a solo goal as West Ham beat Tottenham Hotspur 3-0 at White Hart Lane and was also brought into the England Under-21 set-up.

QPR manager Harry Redknapp confirmed he was interested in signing Morrison and the deal is expected to be finalised on Friday.

“If he does want to come and they want to loan him out, we'd be interested, for sure,” Redknapp said. “He's a talent, (and) can open doors and make the difference.”

Morrison, 21, has three appearances for the England Under-21s to his name and has played 19 times for West Ham. He also had a loan spell with Birmingham City last season, playing 30 times for the Midlands club.
