Roberto Martinez has insisted are looking forward Everton to going to Arsenal in the FA Cup quarter-finals, according to BBC Sport.

Everton beat Swansea City on Sunday to win a place in the last eight while Arsenal beat Liverpool, ending the chances of a cup Merseyside derby with a 2-1 win over the Reds.

A debut goal from Lacina Traore, a Steven Naismith effort and a Leighton Baines penalty gave Everton a 3-1 victory over the Swans, with Jonathan de Guzman on target for the Welsh side.

Everton and Arsenal draw 1-1 at the Emirates Stadium in the league in December and Martinez says that while he would have preferred to be playing at Goodison Park, he was not overawed by facing the Gunners.

“The draw you always hope for is a home tie, but it doesn't matter,” Martinez said. “If you want to win the cup you have to be prepared to face everyone.

“We will have to be at our best but it is something to look forward to.”

Martinez led Wigan to victory in last season’s FA Cup while Everton haven’t won the trophy since 1995, Paul Rideout scoring in a 1-0 win over Manchester United.

Arsenal’s last FA Cup win also came against United, on penalties in 2005 after the game finished goalless.

“If you want to find a word for our performances in the FA Cup this season it would be 'professional',” Martinez added.

“Everyone in our squad is capable of coming on and making a big contribution.”
