Crystal Palace vs Man Utd - Premier League preview and team news

Crystal Palace will be aiming to continue their excellent home run under Tony Pulis with a famous win over Manchester United.

West Bromwich Albion were the latest visitors to Selhurst Park to leave with nothing, and the impact that Pulis has made has led to great optimism among supporters that they can avoid relegation. Having gone two weeks without playing, after their match at Everton was postponed, they come into this feeling fresh and lying 15th in the Premier League and two points clear of danger.

For David Moyes, this is a game which he cannot afford to lose, as it would lead to yet more tough questions as well as increase the rapidly widening gap between Man Utd and the Premier League’s top four. It currently stands at 11 points, which means that the Red Devils must finish the season exceptionally strongly to be in the Champions League next season - unless they win it.

The home side have no new injury problems, and could hand last season’s top scorer Glenn Murray his first ever Premier League start.

Luis Nani is still out for Man Utd, while defensive duo Jonathan Evans and Phil Jones are unlikely to feature as they recover from injury.
