Didier Drogba wants to go to Stamford Bridge with Galatasaray and beat Chelsea in the Champions League, Sky Sports has reported.

The return leg of the last 16 tie will be the first time Drogba has played at his old stomping ground since leaving the London club in the summer of 2012. The sides drew 1-1 in Turkey on Wednesday and Drogba admits it will be emotional to play at the Bridge, but won’t let his feelings distract from his goal.

“I am not there yet and I will only find out [how emotional it is] when I am at the Bridge,” he said. “The only thing I know is that there is still one game to play.

“[1-1] was a good result. We still have our chances, so I am not sure how it will be in a few weeks' time. It will be a difficult game but I think the game is still open, so we're going to go there and try to create a big surprise.”

Drogba delivered the Champions League trophy to Chelsea with his last kick as a Blues player, netting the winning penalty in the shootout with Bayern Munich at Bayern’s Allianz Arena. Drogba had previously levelled the scores at 1-1 in the dying minutes of the match.
