Adel Taarabt wants to make his loan move from Queens Park Rangers to Milan permanent at the end of the season, Sky Sports has reported.

Taarabt started the campaign on loan at Fulham but the move was rescinded in January, allowing the midfielder to make the switch to San Siro.

He has since featured regularly for Milan, appearing in the Champions League tie with Atletico Madrid and scoring twice - in a 3-1 defeat to Napoli and a 2-0 win over Sampdoria.

Taarabt told L’Equipe: “I have been made to feel very welcome by everyone at the club. On every level, people have tried to put me at ease.

“Coach [Clarence] Seedorf has shown trust in me and I feel good,” Taarabt continued. “It is a dream to be in Milan and I hope it is only the start of a great adventure. I have four months in which to try and convince the club to sign me permanently, because I want to stay here.”

Taarabt first moved to English football with Tottenham Hotspur, signing from on loan from Lens in January 2007, before the move was made full-time that summer. He made 15 appearances for Spurs before crossing London for QPR, helping the R’s into the Premier League, while his Fulham career constituted 16 appearances and 1 goal.
