Stoke City midfielder Steven N’Zonzi has said Arsenal have to be stronger if they want to win the Premier League title this season, ESPN has reported.

The Gunners were beaten 1-0 by the Potters on Saturday at the Britannia Stadium, a ground regularly the scene of a slip by Arsene Wenger’s side. The reverse leaves Arsenal third, four points behind leaders Chelsea and only two points above fourth-place Manchester City, who have two games in hand.

“We know that Arsenal play good football but when you start kicking them a little bit, it gets harder for them,” N’Zonzi said.

“They don't like it, we know that. We don't care. We'll keep on doing it, being strong and trying to be as good as we can be on the ball,” the former Blackburn Rovers midfielder continued.

“It's not a surprise they have been moaning because they have plenty of technical players,” N’Zonzi added. “This is how Premier League football is. It's really good, it's really strong.”

The win, secured by a Jon Walters penalty, sees Stoke on 13th place, six points clear of the relegation zone.

N’Zonzi moved to Stoke from Blackburn in August 2012, and has made 68 appearances for the club.
