Parker prepared for ‘biggest game of the season’
Fulham midfielder Scott Parker is preparing himself for his side’s ‘biggest game of the season’ against fellow relegation candidates Cardiff, according to Sky Sports.
The Cottagers are currently bottom of the Premier League but they are just a point behind Cardiff and four points from safety going into the weekend’s match-up.
Parker believes that the result is going to be the most important thing when his side travel to Wales for the vital clash on Saturday.
"When you get to this point in the season and you've got two teams at the bottom fighting for your lives, it's not going to be a classic,” said Parker.
"It's going to be one full of energy and desire. I'm not sure how much quality there will be. The most important thing is winning.”
The 33-year-old admitted that his side are still adapting to new manager Felix Magath’s regime but they will be wary of Cardiff.
"They will have the same mindset and will be looking to do the same. We'll give it our best shot,” added the England international.
"It's the biggest game of the season for us. We need to come out of it with some points."
