Kroos puts Man Utd on alert
Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos has revealed that a move to the Premier League could well be a possibility this summer, reports Sky Sports.
The 24 year old German international has enjoyed a rapid rise in to become one of Europe’s hottest properties, but is yet to sign a new contract at current employers Bayern Munich.
Currently his deal will expire in the summer of 2015 and has been linked heavily with a switch to Old Trafford as David Moyes looks to rebuild the Manchester side.
United could miss out on a place in any European competition next season, a factor that could put off potential transfer targets, but Kroos has refused to discount the club as his possible destination should any move arise.
And speaking ahead of Bayern’s last 16 Champions League second leg tie against Arsenal - in which they currently lead 2 - 0, Kroos suggested he could be tempted by a move to Old Trafford.
Kroos said: “Nothing has been decided about my future. It's no secret the Premier League is an option for me.
"I will consider everything, if I should leave."
While speculation in Germany suggests the player is just trying to force the club’s hand in offering him a new deal, Munich boss Pep Guardiola has stated he is keen for the player to remain at the Allianz Arena.
