Eden Hazard has called on Chelsea to put their Premier League title challenge back on track against Arsenal, TeamTalk has reported.

Chelsea were beaten in their last league outing, a 1-0 reverse at Aston Villa in which they ended with nine men, but did see off Galatasaray in the Champions League. The Turkish giants were beaten 2-0 on the night to give Chelsea a 3-1 aggregate win.

Hazard now wants the Blues to get back to winning ways against the Gunners, title rivals who will also be marking Arsene Wenger’s 1,000th game in charge of the North London club.

“The Champions League is rare because you play less often but the Premier League is so important to us and we know how important it is for the fans too,” the Belgium international said.

“The game against Arsenal comes at an important moment because it follows a league defeat. We are going to do our best in front of our own supporters in what is a big derby game. There is no better one to win.”

Hazard has made 41 appearances for Chelsea this season, scoring 15 goals - two more than he managed in the whole of last season, when he played a total 62 games. In total, the former Lille midfielder has made 103 appearances for Chelsea, scoring 28 times.
