Hull vs Swansea - Premier League preview and team news

A win for either Hull City or Swansea City at the KC Stadium on Saturday should be enough to guarantee Premier League football for next season.

Hull have had a somewhat indifferent second half to the season, and several results have not quite gone their way in recent weeks, but they have seven point lead over the bottom three, and a win here will take them up to 36 points, the number seen by many as the amount needed to stay up. The Tigers will be relieved to return home, after two frustrating away defeats, at West Ham United and Stoke City.

A hugely important victory over Norwich City last time out means that Swansea are now above their hosts on goal difference. The win against the Canaries was the complete performance that interim manager Garry Monk was looking for, after sloppy second half displays had cost them in recent games against Crystal Palace and West Bromwich Albion, and with Miguel Michu back, the confidence is returning.

Maynor Figueroa should return for Hull after missing the game at Stoke, but Robbie Brady, Joe Dudgeon, Allan McGregor and Paul McShane are all long-term absentees.

Swansea have very few injury concerns and Monk could go with the same team that won so convincingly against Norwich.
