Crystal Palace seek permanent deal for Ince
Should they succeed in staying in the Premier League, Crystal Palace are hoping to sign Blackpool winger Thomas Ince on a permanent basis, according to the Guardian.
Ince has been on loan at Selhurst Park since transfer deadline day in January, but has made just five appearances for Crystal Palace, one of which coming as a substitute. He has one goal to his name; against West Bromwich Albion on February 8.
And despite preferring the likes of Yannick Bolasie and Jason Puncheon to play in the wide positions in recent weeks, Eagles boss Tony Pulis is intent on keeping Ince at the club beyond this season. He said: "He's one that we'll look at once things are done.
"I'd love to sit down and get something done with him because I think he's a top player. Tom has been absolutely fantastic. Tom Ince will be a top Premier League player, without a shadow of a doubt. He's got all the attributes and everything else.
"The unfortunate thing is that in the position Tom plays, Puncheon has been outstanding, Bolasie's been outstanding. So it's been very, very difficult to get him into those positions, and the one who's played behind has been Chamakh, who has been one of the players of the season."
A run of three wins in a row have helped Palace up to 37 points and on the brink of safety, while the England U-21 international’s parent club, Blackpool, are in severe danger of being relegated from the Championship, having won just two of their previous 24 games. Whatever happens, Ince is unlikely to be with the Seasiders for 2014-15.
