Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has told of his belief that both title rivals, Liverpool and Chelsea, will drop points between now and the end of the season, reports ESPN.

As it stands after taking just one point from the last six available, Man City are six points behind Liverpool and four behind Chelsea, with a game in hand. That gap is likely to have increased by the time Pellegrini’s men take to field for their next Premier League game against West Bromwich Albion on Monday evening.

Liverpool and Chelsea must still play each other, meaning that at least one of those sides is guaranteed to drop points, and Pellegrini, 60, is confident that his team can still lift the Premier League title. He said: "I am absolutely sure that the teams will drop more points also, it can be Liverpool, Chelsea, the same way we drop points the last game.

"We have to play another 15 points. We will try to win the most amount of points and at the end of the season we will see which team wins the title."

Pellegrini also revealed that Jesus Navas and Yaya Toure will miss the visit of West Brom due to injury, while another key player in David Silva is a major doubt.

I personally think Pellegrini should concentrate on his own team not dropping any points and forget all about what Liverpool and Chelsea are doing!
