Man Utd players will be buoyed by Moyes departure, says Adams
Norwich City manager Neil Adams believes his side will face a different Manchester United this weekend after the dismissal of David Moyes, reports BBC Sport.
The two sides come up against each other on Saturday evening at Old Trafford and the Canaries boss reckons United’s players will have been given a boost by the sacking of the former Everton manager.
He said: “It's going to give them a lift. There is no shying away from that. The crowd on Saturday are going to be more vocal than they might have been. Ryan Giggs is a legendary figure there who fans have watched down the years.
“We've got to go there and put a spanner in the works - spoil the party if you like.”
Adams will come up against Ryan Giggs in the dugout with the two having 25 days of managerial experience between them.
The 48-year-old recently replaced Chris Hughton, who was sacked as Norwich boss, with the side involved in the relegation battle.
He has taken charge of Norwich’s last two games, both defeats, to Fulham and more recently to Liverpool, last weekend.
Norwich currently sit two points ahead of Cardiff, who occupy the final relegation spot, and are still to play away at Chelsea and at home to Arsenal on the final day of the season.
