Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna looks set to hold talks with Manchester City after the FA Cup final with the Frenchman’s contract due to expire at the end of the season, according to The Daily Mail

A move away from The Emirates for the right-back looks likely in the summer, with current discussions for a new contract between him and Arsenal at a standstill, leaving him free to move as his current contract expires at the end of the season.

The Daily Mail reports that the French international will reject Arsenal’s final contract offer which is said to be a three-year deal in the region of £80,000, falling short of the £100,000 a week demands made by the French international.

Sagna’s advisors have also been talking to PSG, Galatasaray and Inter Milan, with a move to the Etihad now another option for the defender.

However discussions with clubs in the same country are forbidden until the end of the season, meaning Sagna has to wait until after the FA Cup final on May 17th.

Sagna moved to Arsenal in 2007 from Auxerre and has since, gone on to make 211 appearances scoring four goals.

He is yet to win any honours at the club, but with the FA Cup final looking like his final game for the Gunners, he has one opportunity to leave the club with a winners medal.
