West Bromwich Albion end their disappointing campaign with a home clash against Stoke City, who will be delighted at the progress they have made.

Only a Norwich City win over Arsenal and an unlikely 16-goal swing can send Albion down, and for that they will be thankful as their record at home to Stoke in recent years makes unpleasant reading. Head Coach Pepe Mel will discuss his future with the West Brom hierarchy over the summer, and it hangs in the balance, with a record of three wins in 16 games not exactly spectacular.

Unlike their hosts, Stoke have every reason to be pleased with season they have had, making giant strides under Mark Hughes. A wonderful home record is central to their impending top half finish, something which they proved last time out, relegating Fulham with some superb counter-attacking football. Next season, they will have a tough act to follow, but the future does indeed look bright at the Britannia.

The home side are still without injured duo Zoltan Gera and Liam Ridgewell, while Thievy Bifouma and Billy Jones are both major doubts.

Stoke are unable to call upon Robert Huth, but fellow defender Ryan Shawcross does return after serving a one-match ban.
