Pellegrini: Man City at full strength for West Ham match
Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has said that his team is at full strength ahead of Sunday’s visit by West Ham, Mcfc.com reports.
Sergio Aguero and Matija Nastasic are reportedly available for selection for the final match of the season against the Hammers with City needing just a point to win the Premier League trophy.
With the trophy within reach, Pellegrini has insisted that he will be picking his strongest line-up for the title decider.
“Everyone is available for Sunday,” he said. “For me, that is the most important thing ahead of this game. We need all our important players for this game and we are happy that we have.
“We know the importance of this match but we must play a normal game and plan to win as we always do.”
The Chilean highlighted the importance for calm ahead of his side’s final game as a loss could see the title go to Liverpool should they beat Newcastle.
Despite just a point being needed, the 60-year-old insists that his side will be looking for a win rather than the single point needed.
“It is important to be calm ahead of this game. We have experienced players and some of them played in the game when we last won the Premier League, but the situation is different, many of the team are different and we are playing different opposition.
“I expect to win the match and I’m not thinking about a draw or anything else.”
