David Luiz nears Chelsea exit as Barcelona and PSG plan bids
Chelsea defender David Luiz has done little to distance himself from speculation linking him with a Chelsea exit, with both Paris St. Germain and Barcelona being strongly linked with making a move.
Luiz, 27, has now been at Stamford Bridge for four seasons, and the Brazilian international has recently been the subject of praise from the PSG manager Laurent Blanc, who said that Luiz was of interest to their club.
The ex-Benfica defender appeared to respond positively to the interest: "I love the city, it's a super city. When I have some spare time, I jump on a train and I go there. I love it. We'll see. You never know. PSG are a big club now, a great name."
Mourinho is understood to be willing to let Luiz leave in the Summer, and another potential destination appears to be Barcelona, who are reportedly waiting on the future of their manager before seeking to conclude a deal.
Luiz only made 15 Premier League starts this season, scoring no goals.
