Chelsea winger Eden Hazard has said that winning both the Premier League and the Champions League is a realistic aim for next season, ESPN has reported.

This season, Hazard’s second at the club, Chelsea failed to win a trophy. Despite challenging for the league title for most of the campaign, they fell short to finish third, while in the Champions League they were knocked out by Atletico Madrid in the semi-finals. There was also a lack of success in the domestic cup competitions.

The Blues are expected to spend heavily over the summer to build a side capable of consistently challenging for major honours, with Atletico striker Diego Costa among those high on their transfer wish-list.

And Hazard, who scored 17 goals in 49 appearances for Chelsea this season, has set his side the target of winning the league and Champions League double in 2014-15. He said: "Next season, with this team, we can win the Premier League and maybe the Champions League as well. If we win trophies it will be a great season for Chelsea. My objectives here are to win trophies, to play games, to score goals and to enjoy my time on the pitch."
