The agent of Toulouse right-back Serge Aurier has revealed that Arsenal have not reached an agreement to sign the 21-year-old, Goal.com has reported.

The Gunners held preliminary talks with Toulouse in May over the possibility of signing Aurier, but they have not resumed the discussions. Manager Arsene Wenger sees the Ivorian as a potential long-term replacement for Bacary Sagna, who has already confirmed that he is leaving this summer.

Despite that, Aurier’s representative, Stephane Courbis, has insisted that Arsenal are yet to follow up on their initial interest in his client. He also revealed that another Premier League club, rumoured to be Liverpool, are pursuing the player, who will be at the World Cup this summer with the Ivory Coast.

"There is no agreement with Arsenal or anyone else," said Courbis. "There have been discussions with Arsenal in the past, but it's been a while since there has been any talks. To tell you the truth, we are even talking to another English club, so there is really nothing to act upon."

Aurier joined Toulouse from Ligue 2 side Lens in 2012, and has since gone on to make 80 appearances, scoring eight goals and contributing 19 assists.
