Remy keen on Arsenal move
Queens Park Rangers striker Loic Remy is chasing a dream move to Arsenal this summer, reports the Telegraph.
The French forward, 27, spent last season on loan with Newcastle United after QPR’s relegation, and netted an impressive 14 league goals in 24 starts for the Magpies.
However the former Marseille man was spotted at the Emirates Stadium late last season, and is thought to be keen to link up with a number of his compatriots, rather than face another relegation battle with newly promoted QPR.
Reports suggest Remy has a £10m release fee, which could prove an economical choice for Arsene Wenger should he wish to provide cover or competition for fellow French forward Olivier Giroud.
Remy, who has five goals in 23 appearances for his country, is part of France’s World Cup squad, where they will face Honduras, Ecuador and Switzerland in Group E.
