Crystal Palace to make Zaha enquiry

Crystal Palace are to make an enquiry over the availability of former winger Wilfried Zaha once manager Tony Pulis returns from the World Cup in Brazil, according to the Daily Mail.

Wilfried Zaha

Zaha joined Man Utd from the South London club last summer, having helped the Eagles to promotion from the Championship. However, he failed to make an impression on the first-team at Old Trafford, making just four appearances before spending the rest of the season on loan at Cardiff City, whom he could not save from relegation.

With new boss Louis van Gaal expected to make a number of signings upon arrival, Zaha’s long-term future with the Red Devils is under severe doubt, and Pulis would be very keen to bring him back to Selhurst Park, particularly as he appears set to miss out on Thomas Ince, one of his other transfer targets.

After coming through the club’s youth system, Zaha established himself as a first-team regular at Crystal Palace, and left the club for £15m having scored 18 goals in 143 appearances.
