Oscar reveals PSG talks but commits to Chelsea
Brazilian midfielder Oscar has admitted that he has spoken to French giants Paris Saint Germain but insists that he will stay at Chelsea next season, the Daily Mail is reporting.
PSG have already claimed the £50m transfer of David Luiz from the Blues and have expressed interest in taking Eden Hazard and Oscar to Paris too – but Oscar has stated that he will be part of Mourinho’s new look squad for the forthcoming season.
However the playmaker did admit that he had spoken to the Ligue 1 club.
Oscar said: “I had contacts with PSG, that is true, but it did not go any further.
“And next season, I will stay at Chelsea.”
The midfielder is currently starring for Brazil as they aim to claim World Cup glory as the host nation, with him already netting a goal as they beat Croatia in their opening match.
He will now be preparing to face South American rivals Chile in the last 16 having qualified top of Group A.
Oscar joined Chelsea in 2012 from Internacional £25m and has gone on to make 11 appearances, scoring 23 goals, while he has netted 10 times for his country in 34 caps – at just 22-years-old.
